Hi, would anyone know if there is anyway to get replacement “International Warranty”, “Limited Series” and “Pictograms” cards that are included in the folio from Omega? I’m interested in a watch that the owner has lost these, but has a certification letter from Omega for the watch. Any info is appreciated!

Plus depending on the model OP is buying it might not be the hand written cards but computer printed ones.

Thanks for the replies. It is a Ltd. Ed. Speedmaster from the 2000s that is complete with the exception of those cards which I guess were lost at some point. The seller did pay Omega to authenticate the watch and has that proof, but I’d obviously like a complete package with the original cards. I was just wondering if anyone had maybe gotten replacements from Bienne or something like that. Again, thanks!

I definitely don't think that is possible, which is why some people pay a premium for a "full set". Any reason you really desire the original cards?

For exactly the reason you said. Should I decide someday to sell the watch, I'd like the full set so that someone would hopefully pay a premium.

Unfortunately, if you're missing the original paperwork you can't return a watch to being a "full set" without some sort of fraud or misrepresentation. There is a reason for the distinction. If somebody could pay $100-200 and get new paperwork, then why would people pay a significant premium for a full set? Once the original paperwork is gone....its gone. You can get an extract, but that really only acts as an effective replacement with much older watches.

I think it would be a better idea to just try to buy the watch you want at a discount because it isn't a full set. I bought a 90's special edition speedmaster a few years back and it came with all the paperwork. If you are buying a relatively recent special edition, it is kind of expected that the paperwork would have been kept with it. If you get it at a good enough price, the difference begins to matter alot less.

I've received replacement cards, direct from Omega. The wrong cards were supplied with my blue SMP, 2531.80 when purchased new from an AD. I was so enamored with the watch I didn't think to check the cards when walking out the door (my very first Omega and I had been lusting after it for 8 years so I was quite distracted) and only noticed it much later (after said AD no longer carried Omega). I wrote Omega and supplied the proof of purchase along with the serial number and they sent me cards matching the watch. This was something like 16 years ago though and not exactly the same situation, I know. Perhaps it's worth asking them if they would supply you cards since they have certified the watch?

I know this is a old thread. But if anyone is interested, Pictogram Card replacements can be ordered (I have done today), from Authorized Omega Dealers and Boutiques. Omega UK directed me to ADs, so I guess Omega UK themselves do not do it direct.

The cost from Goldsmiths (Watches of Switzerland)is £30 and Omega Boutique in London is £25. Both say it take 6 to 8 weeks.

I have cut and pasted Omega UK's reply below.....

Please note that the international warranty card has to be issued, filled in and given to the customer by the official OMEGA retailer upon purchase of the watch. This document can only be issued once. We therefore regret to inform you that we are not to be in a position to issue the warranty card for your watch.

However, you are able to order the Pictogram card for your watch. This card can be ordered directly with your local OMEGA authorised dealer, who will be happy to advise on the availability, cost and lead time. You can find your nearest OMEGA boutique or authorised dealer, by using our store locator here: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-gb/store

Cheers

Pictogram card isn't worth much, it's the Warranty Card that makes a 'full set'.

Yep, course it does, but I like to have as much as I can when I have decent watches. Unfortunately, when I purchased my current Omega a few years ago, it had very little with it.

Next time (no pun intended), I'll be buying a full set. A bit like when I purchase a car, I like cars with Full Main Dealer Service History.😀

And I thought my information was worth sharing.

First you need a Delorean. Second, flux capacitor. Third, plutonium, or lightning as an energy source, for 1.21 Gigawatts or thereabouts

Good information and thanks to know (though it only pertains to the pictogram).

Omega's (and possibly other retailers') rules are inconsistent across regions. For e.g. I know Omega UK, if it services your watch, provides you a service warranty card (with a 2-year validity on the service). Here in Dubai, UAE, no such card is provided, despite my insistence on it (though there is a 2 year warranty).

Instead, you are issued a paper receipt for the amount you pay to conduct the service and a line at the bottom that states the warranty period.

While it ultimately amounts to the same thing, it is rather inelegant and doesn't have the Omega logo - but the logo of the AD.

What's most surprising was the fact that the watch in question was actually sent to Bienne and the service was conducted there (since it was vintage and the local AD would not handle it....) but the monetary transactions were done at the AD!
