    Hello,

Lately I've been interested in getting a SMP. The Bond blue or black. The bond in good condition or the black. I like the older black most but the new ceramic Bond is very nice.
    Anyway I'm getting off topic
I found a good buy (I'm looking at low priced pieces even with damage.)

I'd like to clean it up. I don't mind getting rid of the brushed finish (which I was told the Cape cod will do.)
What do you guys think. If it works as it's supposed too It will be a polished finish.

My opinion, so take it or leave it. That bracelet is amazing with the alternating brushed/polished surfaces. I've seen some completely polished, and they don't look nearly as nice. I had a Seamaster GMT with a bracelet like that. It wasn't hard to use the green scotch-brite pad to re-brush the links that had gotten scratched.

If you want to polish it all, it's up to you. But I wouldn't.

On the newer Seamaster I can see why people brush the center links

This is my only Omega right now (and my only real watch). I'd actually like to see a fully polished bracelet but maybe I like the bling factor.

Does a Polish SMP tell time backwards?

Most polish bracelets are sold in Warsaw. ;)

On a more serious note: nobody commenting on the little orthodox half link in the middle of the bracelet of the OP?

On another tangent: the bond bracelet and the skelletonized hands spoilt the SMP forever for me... does not age well (aesthetics)... took me a long time to figure that out for myself - I just put it on fewer and fewer times in the mornings.
