·Chuffed to see some love for Polerouter Jets in this thread too. I think they’re lovely watches and sit very elegantly on the wrist. Bonus: this particular dial works with almost everything.....

Is that a sandwich dial or applied markers?
The sheer number of beautiful variations in this model is amazing.
They are applied markers. Very fine, obviously, so almost look sandwich.

·Not got it in my hands yet and not the greatest of examples but cheap so I couldn't resist, a gold capped polarouter ref 20214-2. Looks okay (ish) other than the crown.

I’ll reserve judgement on that one and would love to see more photos.
Love the marker ring with concentric circular markings.
The smudged cross hairs are a bit of a concern and the dial looks a bit silvery compared to the gold colour I would expect. I think we would also expect to see “Swiss” at the bottom of the dial.

If you don't like this, then you don't like Polerouters!
What looks to be a completely original Polarouter in fabulous condition with the favoured steel case and black dial and with just a touch of tropical. Tremendous find.
With some concerted effort, I feel that we've learned an awful lot about these over the last 6-12 months. I'm looking forward to learning more and to hopefully seeing a number of Polas together at the GTG in Paris in November.

·Here's one for the Polerouter nerds out there - a gallery of the backs of Polerouter dials showing the markings for Stern, Beyeler and Singer.
Between these three dial manufacturers, I think they made all of the Polerouter dials with Stern making the early dials including the Polarouter dials.
