    Does anyone know with any degree of certainty if a Polerouter date was ever produced with a circular magnifier on the crystal (despite a trapezoidal window below it).

    I've seen several examples floating around recently, and a quick look on polerouter.de shows at least 2 examples here:

    What do you think? Replacement crystal or original?

    Thoughts appreciated.

    Original Universal crystals were signed with the "U" in the center, just like Omegas.

    That's the only way I know to tell original from replacement.

    I believe that some of the later polerouter dates did indeed have circular magnifiers.
