Polerouter below the crystal halo scratch ... help!!!

Hii guys ...

I consider myself quite lucky being able to snatch this beauty for $400.

It even has an original crown, and polerouter globe marking on the back case.
The only thing that kinda itch me, it there is a light "scratch" which almost halo like beneath the crystal.

I'm quite certain that it is below the crystal because I tried to use polywatch with no success.
I'm asking your input on this matter;

1. Can that halo scratch be removed by disassembling the watch and scrub it from inside?
2. Is it better to replace the crystal? (I think mine isn't original)
Preferably with trapezoid date window? Circle date window? Or no date magnifier?
3. Just leave it like it is now

Does the crystal have a U logo stamped in near the center?
It could be an original UG crystal. Either way I wouldn't open if up for that- I'd just leave it be until time for a service and then ask the watchman to buff it off.

OMG OMG .... I find the U logo, so excited!!!

It came with this crappy steel bracelet, so my expectation was not that high in the first place.

New leather strap should have arrived in a few days, and I will definetely post it again here.

BTW quick question, as of now ... Would you suggest me have a reputable watchman to dissamble the watch, and try to buff it up from the inside?

As suggested, when it needs a service have the watchmaker buff the scratch out. How the hell did you pick this up for $400? There must be a story.

Ok ... I will be patient, and not rush things.

I live in Indonesia, and this watch pop up in an online listing that so happen only located 18 miles away from where I live.

Pure luck, and somewhat match made in heaven I guess 😀

But without lurking here in OF forum, I'm definitely won't know anything about the brand nor the polerouter itself.

Congrats - wonderful Polerouter and the original signed crystals are always a huge bonus.

A few weeks after I got the brown one ... I managed to find another one for $400 as well, but this one doesn't have the original crown. Same 215-2 microtor though.

The seller asking for $680, then I negotiated to $400.
Both the brown reptile skin strap, and the suede strap were from this white UG seller.

Sometime, lighting does strike twice I guess.

I've been lurking on ebay looking for the right crown, but $210 price kinda too much for my taste.

The silver/white(?) dial 204610 looks to have been tinkered with, the biggest clue being lumed hands and a non-lumed dial.
The caseback should reveal you what you need to know.

Attached is the caseback from the silver polerouter.

I did wore the silver one for a couple of days, and so far quite accurate.
Basicly I had my eye on this silver one for quite sometime, even before I spot the brown one.
(I want a polerouter so bad, but didn't want to deal with non original crown)

After I got my brown polerouter, and having knew that that silver polerouter didn't sell for months ...
I kinda low balled the seller, and he accept.

My main reason was just in case I need to find parts in the future, having 2 watches with the same 215-2 movement sure will came handy.

So does looking for a non-lumed UG dauphine hands, UG crown, and trapezoid crystal worth to try?

The crystal are around $40 plus shipping, the crown is obviously tricky, not sure how difficult fibding non lumed hands for the polerouter.

The reference and serial is on the outside of the caseback.
Original NOS plexis are usually more like 200+, so its worth trying to save that one if its an original signed one.
