First post here! I am super close on pulling the trigger on a planet ocean chrono but I am torn a few things:

1. Color- I went to my local boutique and tried on the blue but I didn’t try the black face dial. For those that own either the black or blue how did you decide and how do you feel about it after some time?

2. Strap- I found a good price on strap version but I know I will want to change to the bracelet at some point, but I am debating the OEM bracelet or a Milanese. I would love to know opinions on which one works best with this timepiece.

This will be my first Omega and for at least this year this will be the most expensive/centerpiece of my collection. So naturally I am agonizing over the right combo.

And please feel free to post pics of your watches!

Read up on older posts about Omega’s Milanese bracelet. Many owners, with wrists under 7” have problems. “Shark Cage” mesh is an option as well

Thanks! Where did you get your shark cage mesh from?

This original PO 45XL 2200.53.00 came with that bracelet. I believe you can still order separately from Omega or, there are other who make nice reproductions.

Here is the black dial. I would honestly start out with the OEM bracelet and then go down to the straps as there are many companies out there such as Hirsch straps that make better straps than some of these luxury brands.
