So I was washing my watch after a swim. As I was turning the bezel to get the soap out it just popped of.

I was able to remove the bezel when dry also just by using my fingers.

Is there a way to tighten it down? I have tried touching the retaining spring. Any ideas?

    Pic for fun

The spring is what holds it on. It should snap into place with authority and stay there. If it does not, you need a new spring.

Spring looks it's a new replacement. See picture. Should it be more open or closed to offer more resistance?

I wouldn't bend it, it looks OK as is. Make sure that it's property seated in the bezel.

Yep it's in its place and clicks down on the watch as normal. Rotates normally also. But I am able to remove the bezel with two fingers :s

Maybe it's the wrong spring or your not seating the bezel properly and spring is not actually catching under the case lip.

The case does have a lip for the spring to sit under doesn't it?
