Does the case look polished? Hand look authentic? Any other concerns?
Thank you for your expertise.

If it's a CB case, it's very polished. If it's a HF it's also polished. No other concerns from this one picture but that is not really all that would need to be checked. (Serial, Movement, Caseback inner etc..)

Almost looks as if there's a satin photo filter placed over the lugs.

Ultra over-polished case (I hope it's an HF case otherwise, it's an even more dead CB case).

The color of the lume on the hands seems to indicate a service hand set (luminova) but I am not 100% sure (especially regarding the chrono hand).
I would say 90% chance of service hands.
Correct short pushers.
As far as I can see, I guess a service crown.

I do not like it but, as usually, it depends upon the asking price...

There is also a problem with the movement as the hour subdial points between 6 and 7 hours.
I believe the seller wanted to "hide" the chrono creep.
Needs a complete service.

I鈥檓 waiting for more pics. They are asking $8k.
Did you consider the replies here? Are you in a rush? 8k can hurt pretty bad when you realize you got something dissapointing. Take your time.

Definitely taking my time. Seems like someone went to town on the case. They claim a recent service but evidence shows otherwise. Fantastic observations from just one picture. Thank you. Learning lots.

What a shame.. that watch is gorgeous, but someone went absolutely bat-**** crazy with a buffing wheel.

I'm sorry, but there is no evidence that the watch needs a complete service. The photo shows a watch with the chrono running.
Nothing wrong with that, and to assume the seller is trying to hide chrono creep is rather jumping the gun.

A picture with resetted chrono will tell if or not, simple as that 馃榾

No it won't, anyone can reset a watch with chrono creep and take a pic.

Some watches with chrono creep will not reset exactly to 12 anymore so that would narrow it down a little bit. I'd personally prefer to see pics of a watch without chrono running.

Need to see movement and case back

Dial hands are a nice match imho.

Well I suppose you could say that about some watches that don't have chrono creep.
My point was that we shouldn't be stating as fact that the watch needs a full service when there is no evidence to support that.

No way to determine service needs. Some show the watch with the Chrono running to show it works. It鈥檚 not a sign of being nefarious.
