·Wow. +1 for humanity today. I half expected this to be a scam from a new poster but turns out it was all legit and seemed to have ended well so far. Congrats OP and buyer! 😀

Thanks for the motivation. I believe I've donne my homework by now. For future reference here are some of the links I used to elucidate me... future newbie members fell free to indulge yourselves:

A quick research at WatchPatrol led me to the conclusion that you've pulled out a very nice deal as well. The only "field" where I would like more "assistance" is regarding the bracelet. I can't seem to identify this one (originally wouldn't it be a 1098 👎?)
It goes without saying that OP's watch is a very nice one
Once again thank you for the "push"
👍
The bracelet’s difficult as there is no visible code on the clasp which is normally the best way to identify. The second chance is the endlinks. These are no. 48 which are pretty uncommon, and that is a good clue that the bracelet is an 1175 (which I believe often were just marked with the 12 at the clasp). They’re pretty popular with Speedmaster owners as they’re 19mm which works with some of the earlier references, and they’re sort of a semi-flatlink style which is both strong good looking.
With the watch you have to be a little careful as there were chronometer versions and non-chronometer versions. The one I bought is non-chronometer so it only says automatic. The chronometer versions have the chronometer text below the logo. I’d hazard a guess that being a chronometer would add about €200-300 to the value, so it’s an important point to consider.
