So this is a model with a known “super fake” out there and the reused serial number, got it.

Is there a thread that compiles the models that have a fairly high quality super fake versions? Not the model that is occasionally faked, redialed or what have you, but ones like this that have a very easily identifiable clone version? If you know what you are looking for, this isn’t a subtle skill that takes time to learn like looking for redials.

If you study the movement a little vs a genuine one, there's one thing they have never gotten right with the fake movement cover. Even if the seller is purposely hiding the (likely) gold-colored balance wheel, you can see this inconsistency on the other side. That's how I spotted that fake before even looking at the serial.

Thanks! Love learning what to look for when it is black and white. Or gold in this case...
