Ok, I am not an expert, but for me way too many red flags here:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/OMEGA-Seamas...431111?hash=item2f1574adc7:g:uMAAAOSwpU1aabIaPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    - Stubbies dial
    - No white box around the date
    - No picture of the movement
    - Lume looks strange
    - Case back has A/254/67 engraved on it
    - Wrong reference number
    - Wrong calibre
    - Questions cannot be sent to the seller currently
    - No close up pictures
    - Way too cheap

Hope I did my homework right....

Same watch was here so posted it here I guess the Omega forum had some pull it was removed. see a few post above yours was on chrono24 so the slime ball selling his junk on fleabay now. One thing you missed never seen a real issued one with date so even if it had the correct looking date window it would still be wrong.

I was also wondering about the date on the mil. So, even more fake features...
    I'll report the item.

I am still not sure of what/where/how to post. I started a reply to one, then saw a box labeled "new" instead of "reply", so I deleted what I had started as a "reply", then could not find "new" anew. I'm going to try to paste a picture gere and see what happens. I'm old and prertty thick skinned, so here goes:

I’m guessing you don’t really want to post here?
As it doesn’t look like a fake Connie to me.
    Go to vintage omega forums.
If you want to join in a conversation press reply.
If you want to raise a new thread press post new thread

    Best of luck.

Thanks for the answer./ I am not as adept as I was at board type forums. I did want to start a new thread, but could not seem to find it. And I was trying to find out about this because it did look nice, I thought I was there, but not yet, I guess. I don't seem to know yet how to PM, either. I started in PC's as a tech on XT and PC jr days, mostly kept up, but more hardware, I guess. I'll stumble around, Thanks for your gleaning that I was hoping to find, anyway, even if accidentally. Back to lurking, for me now, thank you.

And, as an aside, the observatory had stars and brickwork detail, I had read that in here.

ARRRGH! I see now I had the wrong window when I just dragged the photo over. I do see now. Sorry, I will leave now, for lurking.

"Genuine all original 1971 omega speedmaster professional owned for over 40 years never had a service and still working great has been sitting in the draw for over 30 years watch ref 145022-71 ST bracelet no 633.

PS No box or papers as at the time never thought about keeping them."

I pointed out to the seller that the reason he had no bidders was because his watch has the wrong hands; it might have been "sitting in the draw" (AAARGH!!) for lots of time, but at some point it has had work done on it... I suggested he sends it off to STS, gets it serviced, replaces the hands with period correct ones, and then his watch might be worth £3k. "thanks i'll do that" he replies.

Then immediately relists with no changes.
