Everything apart from the 565 movement is a replica.

Then they've made it out to look like a refurb so they can sell them. Just look at how many replicas with genuine movements they've sold.
Ah, gotcha. so the parts in the 565 itself aren't genuine. Makes sense then. Thanks for the education. Its how we all get better. 😀

No, the movement is genuine. It’s the only thing that is. The seller states he “sourced new old stock Omega Seamaster 130 cases”. This is complete bullshit. They’re just cheap, completely fake cases, with fake bezels, fake hands and I would also say a fake, not reprinted dial.

The watch is utter junk. He chrome these out frequently and some poor bastards keep buying them.

Fake vintage Seamaster with bids, sadly from an antique dealer who doesn't know any better

https://www.ebay.com/itm/365872843565
Is that 18k stainless steel? It looks very "stainlessy" to me, or is it just the pics?

An antique dealer that does not know the difference between gold and steel seems unlikely to me. He really should know better,

@dsio , Question: is this thread also for OF sales (e.g. recent scammer https://omegaforums.net/threads/ome...00-full-set-2005.187160/page-2#post-2530852)?

If so, should/could this thread be a sticky?

If a sticky, would it only alert members or would it also alert the mods to potential scams?

Thanks
For any suspect listings on OF, immediately PM moderators and use the report function if you can, we want to respond to those ASAP before the bad guy can do any damage.

Even if you're just a little unsure, or would like us to check over a listing or a seller, get in touch with us, we have many people do that and we're happy to check out a seller and let you know if everything from our end looks ok, don't hesitate to ask us.

nearly $700 on a garbage fake Planet Ocean sole by a 6000 feedback seller who should know better, so many of these don't get taken down anymore

This is another vintage fake from a seller that often appears in the vintage recommended thread sadly

Just FYI I messaged the seller to point it out and ask them to have one of their watch specialists review it, they pulled it immediately themselves. Not a common occurrence but one that is good to see from a seller.
