路Hello all,
If you saw my posts yesterday you will know I was lucky enough to receive the watch below as a birthday present from colleagues.馃榾
I am not a collector nor purist, but I do like things to be right. I have learned from here that the watch is a redial, and seen from other posts that many people avoid them. Is this from a collectors viewpoint, and as an "ordinary" wearer I should stop worrying, or have my colleagues inadvertenly bought something they would have rather avoided?馃槙
I know the watch was purchased from a very well established pre owned specialist retailer in London, and probably paid a premium for that peace of mind (which is fine), but if in their understandable ignorance they ended up with a sub standard example they would be upset, and it is playing on my mind. They would have no problem returning to the retailer to "have a potentially changing it.
I like the watch and will wear it with pride but I am sure you can understand my worries.
I'm currently wearing another present, a Busnell GPS golf range finder watch on my way to play golf. The advances in technology are mind blowing.
And yes, I am in London so of course it is raining!
I really appreciate all your input, and am very grateful.
David
