    Hi guys,
I have just bought this watch on impulse for 580 Euros. I’m hoping I made the right move. Been looking at a few vintage Omegas lately but i liked the dial on this one best. I am a novice regarding watches but I looked at similar ones and this seemed reasonable and in decent condition. Did I buy well? Feel free to ridicule me if not!

An in focus pic of the dial where we can see the text would help.

Well, it looks like an original dial to me, but I'm not sure if it's correct for this reference. You can barely see the swiss made mark at the bottom, but that's probably because the crystal is not original and has a rehaut which is too large (or some other crystal issue along those lines).

my filling is that the dial is old redone. Gold numbers and silver hands?!? Probably The dial is not original to the case because hour markers are very close to the beze

Could that just be because the crystal is not original? What other case could the dial have gone in, given that its a jumbo, would there be that many others (besides a gold case but would that affect the sizing)? I do see what you mean about the colour of the hands though....

From the pics you gave, I would say the dial has not been redone and that the bezel/markers issue could be due to the glass.
But as noted above, the hands have a correct shape and size but should be golden. On this ref, the sec hand can be a little bit longer than yours, but yours seems OK as well.

After looking at the pictures some more, I think that the crystal is definitely incorrect, and the hands may be incorrect.
Everything else seems original to me. (Nice flat foot crown too).
