·Unfortunately, I have never seen what a newer 135 looks like under the dial. Another friend-of-the-large-balance-wheel, who may already has passed away (he knew Ephrem Jobin personally), wrote to me about this in about 1999: "Sadly, Zenith omitted the unusual coupling in the hand setting device in later examples of the calibre 135. M. Jobin once commented on this: "They just didn't know what it was for anymore, and because they didn't understand it, they found it dispensable ....". Perhaps they were simply trying to save costs."
Perhaps watchguy's pictures have made this unnecessary. As far as I can see, all the parts of the winding and hand-setting mechanism are visible, even though it's a newer movement without "pinion".
