That is very cool! Would that be the Swiss truck/bus/engine manufacturer?

Yeah it is. The case is also engraved down the left hand side with the text "SAURER".

Well, I am mostly buying chronographs, but this one caught my eye, and decided to test it out.
It's from the 1950s, jumbo 37mm in diameter, manual wind 126 caliber. And pretty slim at 7mm!

And comparison with these 37mm Zeniths that I have.

Apologies for the further thread drift...probably the only time something like this (Saurer) will ever come up for me. 😁 Was researching European truck marques to stay sane during recovery from surgery several years back so that I could make a little drawing. Saurer was one I had never heard of before and it was definitely interesting, so I stuck it on!

To stay on topic then...beautiful Zeniths in this thread. I hope to come across one some day!

Let me know if this counts..

Chatham on the front but it's a got a Zenith 12-4-P-50 movement inside. Care of our own @MoclovFlop again! Got a couple of other strap options ready to go ... Maybe even a vintage mesh.

This H. A. Stone branded pocket watch has a 19 NVSI movement. It is hard to date these old Zeniths but the serial number chart in the Rossler book just states pre-1930. The fuzzy dial is due to the worn glass crystal.

It certainly appears to be the same base movement. EDIT: The only major difference I see is an additional screw on the third/fourth wheel cock.

the Zenith 12-4 is based off a Rayville Movt so it’s more likely that
