In love with my new vintage Movado super sub sea. Zenith A 277’s sister!

Very nice example. And, a little cheaper than her sister.... Congrats!

Today, a Cairelli CP-2 "Roma" (orginale)
Advantages of getting to Mr. Magoo-like vision correction, I don't have to worry about small defects anymore - can't really see them!
But this is one of the collection that is pretty much "concours".
I love the hands, the readability, the fonts, balance.
Understandable why Zenith did a reissue.

I managed to win my first Zenith (and probably not my last) at an auction the other day, a Zenith Surf ref 01-1431-380 blue dial.

hard to say. Best would be to request an extract from the Zenith archives.

Welcome... and big congratulations because for someone who’s new and not an expert you have certainly found a good number of very new looking and remarkable old watches.

I’d love to hear more about you, and how you found them.
Did you buy an old watchmaker’s stock in the French region of Jura as your name suggests? Or are you in the business of purchasing and liquidating estates?

Hello,
I'm really not an expert in watches but I want to learn 😀 I live in Croatia where the name Jura is very common. So, it is neither a region in France, nor one of the prehistory periods of the Earth 😀 My main hobby is philately. I did not buy any of the watches I showed. I didn’t know about this great forum until a few days ago, when it was pointed out to me by a friendly expert on Helvetia watches.
My grandfather who lived in Kotor (former Yugoslavia and now Montenegro) was a watchmaker from the time of the 1930s, through World War II and even later, until 1979 when he died. The watches I showed I got from my father who got it from his father (my grandfather). In the area of Kotor during the World War II, various occupations changed - first Italian from 1941 and German towards the end of 1943. The mentioned facts and that turbulent period of time probably allowed all these interesting watches to reach my grandfather.
Best regards,
Juraj
