    The watch case looks original
The movement has a replaced balance cock - easily recognisable by the different surface pattern
    It should look like this:

    perlage.jpg

IMO the dial has already been re-printed - the logo and wording look too "modern"
    They should look like these

    kind regards
    Erich

Also worth noting is that this is likely a pre merger watch. That’s a big deal because Omega was still owned/operated by the original founding family. Started by the father who left Omega to his two sons who left it to their 4 sons who later merged with Tissot. Like having a pre merger Heuer Carrera but much older/rarer. Pre merger watches are kind of a big deal across brands but I don’t hear much about Omega’s original watches

What happened to the original photos? Is the OP afraid to have experts see his watch? By the way, comparing your watch to other repainted dials isn't terribly convincing.

Why report? It’s a very rare watch… you don’t need the pics of my watch

    Well, thanks for nothing.

We are guilty until proven innocent of defrauding through the use of your serial numbers.

It could have been a good thread, providing an opportunity to learn something about early Omega.

The OP didn't like what he learned about his watch, so he took his ball and went home.

So I guess blacking out the serial was just too damn difficult. NOT Even I can do it.

I'm disappointed that the original photos have not been restored...usually the mods are pretty quick to do so when they are removed.
