Redial - case looks to be in so so condition. Maybe 503 movement?

Judging by the calendar hole, could be worse than a redial...

It either has a sinus infection or that is one really bad redial. Did the refinisher run out of gold ink? And what happened to the metal surround for the ate window?

Over sized window would be a feature?

Only if the number inside the window was equally oversized.

I have seen a poor redial of a Seamaster Calender housing a 503 with a similar looking date window to this. Must be missing the window surround. Is it running? The second hand is also missing its tail. I agree that the crown looks like it has been replaced and it looks to need a new crystal.

Found it. Similar poor redial missing date surround: image.png
The hands fell off and the crystal was broken in shipping.
Here is an example of the date surround on a better redial and on an original dial: image.png
