    Hello guys,

Is there any US lawyer among the forum members?

Or does somebody live in/or near by Livonia, Michigan?

Please shoot me a PM as I do not want to discuss the matter publicly at the time (maybe later).

    Many thanks in advance

    Erich

Hope everything is alright. Now my interest is piqued. You need an attorney, but not any yellow page patsy ... A watch lawyer, specifically one that likes omega.

Can't wait to hear the story.

    Edit: peaked to piqued

I would post your situation publicly. There may be other solutions that you're not considering.

Whith such specificity i would go to a lawyer forum rather than a watch forum....or a Michigan resident forum.

Steve Lehto is an expert in automotive law - lemon law, etc. However a lot of what he would do may also apply to goods and services in general. He's located in Southfield - about 20 minutes from Livonia. Steve posts frequently on Jalopnik, another forum I frequent. He's worth contacting at least.

I'm not a lawyer, but the Michigan Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service might be a place to start. I know people that have found the Massachustts Bar's version very helpful. Good luck.

I'm really confused why someone would ask for lawyer on a watch forum. ::confused2::

Because the OP resides in Europe, and has built up a level of confidence in his fellow forum members. Do you not understand why their recommendations (as many are from the U.S.) would likely prove to be more useful than simply finding attorneys in a phone book and shooting blind?
