·Total agree with Al on this one. I used the pry method until I finally purchased the Omega tool and regret not getting it in the first place. I have bent the bezel where I had to purchase a new one as even a slight bend will not go in properly and will not rotate either.

·FWIW, the JB fixed bezel remover is a recent pickup of mine. It's definitely the best tool I've ever used for the job. Just the trick for the high end pieces where you really don't want to mess around.

Yeezusss... that's a pricey bit of kit. Happy tinkering! For the rest of us, I highly recommend shopping for quality vintage tools! (For some things, I realize there is no vintage substitute; the Omega opener, for example... but vintage JAXA and LG openers are out there).

The fixed bezel remover I have shown here is an upgraded version of the generic one that Otto Frei sells really, except the blades are round and can be indexed if they ever get dull, where the square blades on the other you either have to remove and sharpen, or replace.
They operate on the same principle, that the sharp edge goes in and it wedges the bezel off, rather than prying it off. I haven't used the exact models you have there, but I've used similar devices from other brands - they do the job but are not as nice as the one from JB is.

·100% agree. Thanks to @Archer s guidance last year I’m able to, carefully, remove a stem and movement from the case.
A recent pickup needed some cleaning, and being slightly OCD the gunk around the bezel bothers me. I’m hopeful I can extend my comfort level to one of being able to strip and clean a case.
I’m not a poker player so don’t have a chip per other approaches. 😀
Mechanicals are most definitely left to the experts.
