Planet Ocean Xl - Bracelet Link Removal?

I am the proud new owner of the planet ocean XL which I bought 2nd hand from a forum member. I need to remove a link or 2 from the bracelet. There appears to be 2 very small screws either side of the link. Is there a pin inside the link once the 2 screws are removed? Do i need to use a locking glue on the screws once I have removed the links required?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're unsure, I'd just take your watch to a local jeweller. They will adjust your bracelet for a few quid. 😀

I did ring the local omega dealer and they quoted £10 to do it.

Is it a 8500 caliber PO?

In that case, I not think it uses the internal pins inside like pre-8500's.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to something else. Nevermind.

Any local watchmaker shouldn't really charge no more than £6. 😀
