Planet Ocean Rubber Bezel Insert

Not a ton of information on the rubber insert but just curious how it’s held up for some. Do you notice any stains and how would you clean it? I just got the 8900 last week and if you look closely I can almost see something underneath the rubber coating. Possibly seeing the metal underneath? I don’t think it’s a stain because it’s fairly consistent under the whole thing. I’m being pretty nit picky and you can only see it if you look closely, but just makes me wonder if it’s that thin how will it hold up over time. Any thoughts? I’ll try to get a good picture that shows what I’m talking about. I haven’t seen another one in person to compare to.
