Just released in two versions, both look brilliant, and create a very real and serious competitor for the Rolex GMT-Master. With a 60 hour power reserve, ceramic bezel, and the stunning blue with a hint of orange, the GoodPlanet GMT is the first rotating bezel GMT watch in Omega's lineup since the Seamaster Pro "Great White" and 50th Anniversary editions ended production in the mid 2000s.

43.5mm in Steel on Steel bracelet, Ref 232.30.44.22.03.001

43.5mm in Steel on Rubber strap, Ref 232.32.44.22.03.001

I reckon we'll see a black for sure come Baselworld, this is probably a limited edition rather than a production version.

The "Denver Bronco" colours are not for me but the red 'n' black is definitely rock 'n' roll.

Unfortunately this watch does NOT have a ceramic bezel like other current PO's.... and it's really glossy so its going to scratch up really badly. I found out about this model at the Omega boutique in Venice on the 4th of April. The international launch of the Good Planet film was on the 17th in Venice and the Venice boutique was getting the first watch in time for the release. The manager said it was arriving on the 5th or 6th but I wasn't able to stay around to see it. I did get to see it at Baselworld though and the colour scheme looks very nice indeed. Not sure if the non Good Planet versions shown at Baselworld had a ceramic bezel (forgot to ask) but it looked to me like they did as they were the same dark grey/black as the non GMT versions.

Quote from Omega website;
"The lacquered orange 24-hour scale stand out on the bi-directional polished blue bezel ring, a useful feature which complements the helium-escape valve located at 10 o’clock on the brushed and polished 43.5 mm stainless steel case. The caseback, engraved with “GoodPlanet Foundation”, also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, making it possible to see OMEGA’s revolutionary technology within."

Here is a pic from Piazza San Marco

The lacquered orange 24 scale is referring to the orange inlay though not the bezel itself, its definitely not an aluminium bezel, which doesn't leave much else but ceramic for it to be :\
