I just purchased a new Planet Ocean 39.5 on the bracelet.
After having the AD size the bracelet, I noticed that the small screws in the links are in various depth. Some seem to be seated pretty deep in the slots, others are almost flush with the the lip of the slot. Is this just manufacture variability or did the technician just not tighten the screws enough? Should I worry about the screw backing out?
The second question is regarding the use of loctite at the AD. Are they pretty good about following the rules? Or do a lot of them skip on the loctite step after adjusting the bracelet?
I know I sound super neurotic. However, the technician at the AD I went to did not give me a lot of confidence.
He sized the bracelet pretty quickly, and actually added a link in backwards. I noticed the backward link after I found it locked the adjacent links in place. Now I am just wondering if he wasn't being too careful with the steps.
