I purchased a Seamaster 300 SMP (black/stainless) that I like and enjoy. However, I have been thinking the 39.5 PO would have been a better choice. It just doesn't seem to be very popular? How come?

Says who 馃榾? After owning two in 43,5mm I realized what was wrong. The size. 39,5 is perfect. My wrist has around 17,5 cm. I really like the overall proportions now.

..and next to another ladies size diver 馃榾

But concerning your choice, can`t tell what you like better.

The 39.5 has great proportions in person.

Yep, too bad it's not equipped with a 8500 or 8900 for the jumping hour hand. I'd be all over it.

39.5 PO is a beautiful watch, and yes - always surprised it isn't more popular among the PO/Diver crowd.

I have the PO 39.5 and the Diver 300M. I really like both of them. If I had to pick one, it would be the PO. Mostly because I have smaller wrists, and the 42 mm is the max I can pull off. Side by side they look much different in size. If the PO was 1 mm bigger case, and 0.5 - 1 mm thinner, it would be the perfect watch for me. The PO is technically thicker than the diver 300, but it doesn't seem so on my wrist. Bottom line, is you have to try the PO on, and you might need to own both watches.
