Place your bets... Longines Content, or No Longines Content ?

So I picked up some watches and was discussing with an IG friend. From the terrible seller pics I managed to ID a Zenith, but my friend says he’s 80% sure its neighbour is Longines. The case and the dial look like strong possibilities to me, but I just can’t see “Longines” in the dial signature. So anyone want to have a guess ? Watch is about a ten days away so it’ll be a long wait !

Hmm the first letter looks like an „F“ to me. So I am Team no-Longines ( but hopes for you it is ;-) )

No chance, I'm afraid. Wish that I could find reason for optimism, though, and would be happy to be wrong.

I think the «Swiss Made» text over the minute track is not
what you would expect on a Longines dial of this period.
But exciting never the less, fingers crossed😀

I’ll be sure to post some pictures when it arrives. It’s actually with family and I could ask them to open it up before forwarding on, but I think I’ll sit it out. Does look to be a pretty nice watch either way, hopefully steel cased and 34mm or larger. Nice deco numerals too.

For whatever it's worth, here an example of a (slightly different) Longines take on very similar numerals:

I’d just done a quick image search and did find a few Longines with very similar numerals, but it did seem that they all used a small zero in the ten and the photo I posted doesn’t.

Pretty exciting post... Even if I’m also team non-Longines...

Fingers crossed nevertheless 👍

Normally there’s enough to have decent guess but I’m struggling too. I reckon the signature is 6 characters long. I did think Eterna but there’s no way the first two characters are E and T. Time will tell !
