So I am playing Mr. Mom for a few days while my wife has her company's annual meeting...this means that I have hours each day spent in a pitch black hotel room as our son sleeps.

So what do I naturally do? Play the ebay slots.

I am posting 1 picture of what I bought, and I would love to bets on the total number of parts and whether this is will be a winner/loser.

Once I get it and catalog what in the hell is in there, I'll deliver a prize of some sort to the winner.

Thanks for playing and to happy hunting!

You could sell each bin separately. You might actually make a few $$$ that way.

Winner or loser depends on the price.
Would you share what you’ve paid ?

I’ve tried similar once or twice, but even when they winners the time taken probably meant they weren’t really worthwhile. Did get Heuer Monaco dial 1133B once though in a random drawer, but annoyingly it seemed an attempt to clean it had pretty much wrecked it :(

Dibs on the Enicar/Eterna parts drawer !

I was thinking of buying this too.
You can’t possibly lose with a bit of work.
Or you might even find a gem that is worth a fortune. Good luck to you.

The work may be greater than the reward, agree, and if that is the case, then bulk lots.

I've bought a parts lot before, so will be entertaining...at least the drawers are clear:)

FF parts!.... could be Rolex/Tudor caliber 59 stuff... it was a stash like this that provided the winding and setting clutch parts to fix my 47 Tudor last year... and Longines drawers... with Waltham and Elgin drawers present that dates this stuff to the era of the Longines 12.68z and other cool stuff... there's hours of happy trolling for bits of gold in them thar drawers. GOLD!

    Have fun!

It will be interesting, and hopefully I'll be able to help members with parts.

Going in low at 800. Curious whether the LeCoultre drawer contains a suitable crown for my Memovox.

    768 parts in the bin.

"Can’t trust anyone who labels a drawer le coulter."

Yeah, and how many "A Shields" movements are seen?

Wonder if enough clues may be seen there to ascertain when the bin was put together and labeled or when it was in regular use?

Am I the only one wondering how to determine winning from losing without knowing the bets made to secure this treasure? ;)
