Hi all, sorry to hijack this thread but would like some information on the history on the Conquest that I recently acquired. I believe that the crown is not original and the watch itself shows very little signs of wear. Serial number on the movement indicates ca. 1960. Any feedback from anybody more qualified than myself would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

It's best to start a new thread, and be sure to include those pics... watch looks great!

November 2015 I bought the Conquest Deluxe (the no date version). It quickly became my favourite watch, as it was absolutely mint. This week I had the chance to buy the ref. 9025 (with date). Today it arrived and I daresay it's also pretty amazing.

They both have one flaw: the 9021 has a lug that's bent a bit backwards (needs to be fixed) and the 9025 has a tiny bit of the enamel chipped.

Congrats @BartH! Fantastic sharp cases on both! Now u just need a date@12 version to complete the trifecta 😜

The no date seems to have a more pinkish rose gold hue compared to the date version, which gels with my experience.

I'd say they have the same hue, it's just the light and the angle. As you know 😉 these Deluxes change so much given the angle and light source.

The pinkish color is difficult to capture in picture, but becomes clear when you place them next to a yellow gold watch.

Beautiful, congrats!
Funny, I too find the hue is more yellow on the new arrival (with date).

Interesting. I'll do a side-by-side when daylight's here.

To the naked eye they appear equally rosy. Shot 4 pics side by side, where I switched postions, because they change from every angle.
