    Late '50s. Very nice watch. It was their top-of-the-line automatic. The case has seen some polishing, which is unfortunate, but still quite nice.

    +1 Tony pretty much covered it. If you search on the forum you can find some additional details/examples.

    How'd you come by the watch? Beautiful dial, they really catch the light well.

    The blue enamel on the caseback medallion is stunning on these watches.

    It was a trade between abother collector, he is more into chronos now, and I wanted aclassic, when I perform-I am a pianist

    As for the photos, I did not even try to make good photos or take care of the light angle. It sure looks much better on the hand live

    I don't know how familiar you are with Longines, but they have the best historical records in the business. If you'll send them photos of the dial, movement, inside and outside of the caseback they'll provide all of the relevant information for the watch. Below is an example:
