Hey guys! I just negotiated a price for this Pink gold constellation and I’m pretty excited about it. I just wanted to run it past you guys before I paid in case I’m missing something. My main concern is if there is something wrong with the dial. In some of the pics it looks a little off to me. I hope everything checks out because it looks like an amazing watch. Thanks in advance for all your advice!

Looks like it could just be the photo processing. You might ask for different photos with different camera setup, even with an Iphone might help.

Thanks! I will ask. I really should have done that before I negotiated the price but I was worried someone else would snatch it up

Are you sure that it's RG?

With a little processing it looks very YG.....

Hmm that’s concerning. The seller listed it as pink gold and the photos posted certainly looked pink to me. Hopefully if he sends me another photo it’ll clear that up.

I suspect it is pink gold. Probably shot on white background. Both images above likely off and exagerated. It is not difficult to make a photo appear as you want it.

If you trust the seller simply ask...otherwise a dice role. GLWYB and be. Careful to read description..carefully

Thanks for all the responses. I asked the seller for a new photo so I’ll see how he responds. Either way he accepts returns so worst case scenario I can always send it back. I just don’t want to miss out if it is pink gold i don’t think these come around too often.

Might look like this, but you will have to get a commitment from him that if it is not PG , you can return it.

It is quite tricky to photo pink gold, I have noticed this myself. Perhaps ask the seller to take a picture next to a yellow gold case, I find this can shows the colour a lot better than a photo of the pink gold piece alone. You should hopefully be able to see a clear difference.

Like @cristos71 mentions, capturing pink gold is difficult. On most of my pics my pink Connie ref. 2700 looks yellow, but next to a true yellow gold you notice the difference.

I suspect the OP's watch is pink. When you see the backside with the movement, the doesn't look yellow compared tot the plated movement. Moreso because these plated movements were more reddish than pinkish.

BTW the OP's Connie looks nice. Gotta realise that this case is 34mm as opposed to the earlier cases which were 35mm.

If the bracelet is indeed pink as well, if you twist my arm hard enough I let you salvage some of your losses and take it for the current gold price.

Ahh I didn’t realize it was 34mm I just assumed it was 35. I’m a little bit worried I got too excited and overpaid haha how much do you guys think is fair value for this (assuming it is pink and ignoring the possible gold value of the bracelet)

Case condition looks fine. If dial condition and colour (pink/yellow) are optimum, you're in for a pleasant surprise.

I recieved this one from this forum and despite it being 34mm, it wears nicely (35-37mm usually is about my sweet spot).

I just sent payment and hopefully will have the watch early next week. The seller says the watch is definitely red gold and the bracelet is supposedly solid red gold as well so hopefully all will check out!
