Can anybody confirm if the pin buckle for the rubber strap is removable via a spring or if it's permanently affixed to the rubber strap? I gently gave it a shot with my spring bar tool and wasn't getting any leverage and didn't want to try any harder until I validated that there's actually a spring bar in there.

95% sure it is a spring bar looking at mine. The band and buckle are sold separate, too.

 

Thanks bz0123. The tolerance was tight between the strap and the buckle so I couldn't clearly see a springbar shoulder. I agree that since they sell strap & buckle separately, it makes no sense that buckle would be permanent to the strap. Thanks for chiming in.
