I've never seen one like that either. I smell a high-end frankenwatch here.

Dial is real and original, case and bracelet are not, why someone was dumb enough to melt the case is beyond me, but its not the first time that's happened, a stepped date-at-three SMPP sold as dial and movement only a year or two ago.

Case should be a 14K Reference 2757 with a Calibre 355 movement

 

On the plus side... it has the correct hands (they're long)

 

Interesting question, thus far all stepped dials have been on 2627s with Calibre 353s and all non-stepped dials have been on 2757s with Calibre 355s, the exception being the messed-with example in AJTT. Its a very small sample size so could well be just a co-incidence but it has worked out that way so far.

 

Hefty price for essentially the dial.

 

Na it has too much wrong with it to be considered canon, Constellation crown on a Seamaster? please
