I'd been pretty disapponited in most G10 straps. Most of them don't come even close to following the specs. My previous favorite has been Maratac, which are a lot closer than most.

I received a Phoenex G10 sometime... discovered the envelope when I was looking for something else. Woven nylon strap in grey, the same strap supplied to the Ministry of Defense. It was a lot darker than I expected it would be and really looks nice with the watch... not black to overwhelm, not a lighter grey to... look wrong.

After soaking the strap in hot water for a minute, I assembled according to the well-known instructions. I soak these first because it makes the nylon weave a lot more pliable and the strap molds itself to you as it dries.

The fit is a lot better because the loops are located according to spec. The tail can be routed back in the proscribed way because the loops are located according to spec and the long strap is also according to spec.
