This was fun. Sad reminder that I haven't fallen in love with a new band in many years, though.

Watch the crowd in this AC/DC Thunderstruck video. It must have registered on a Richter scale down town.

Reminds me of one of my favorite music videos, mostly just to see a young Angus Young going at it:

Not a lot to fall in love with out there. For a while Kasabian filled that void for me but recently is barren. Tom Yorke is all class.

Too many

Chris Wilson - one of Australia’s greatest writers, and a world class blues harp player
This album, live at the Continental, is magnificent … here’s one track

Another seminal Aussie Album - Tim Rogers
One highlight below

Another Flawless, and incredibly stylistically diverse album, from Steve Earle
Here’s one cracker from it
Another track, written for his Autistic, non verbal son, (Steve in his late 50’s at this stage)
https://youtu.be/3fxJwCSlVXw

Radiohead… love em, too hard to choose a fave
Beatles - same

Not a song, but the Koln Concert by Keith Jarrett
As above Paco de Lucia’s Concierto de Aranjuez

Goes alright too

Ok, Archer.

I see what you did there.

Mutually assured destruction is called for.

I'll see your pot-stirring ear worm "Kars4Kids and raise you a vicious ear worm "Turning Japanese."

In your offering at least the kids are cuter.

I'm raising the stakes...

And it’s not just the quality of the performances from the Allman’s, but the quality of the engineering/recording as well. On a really good stereo, it is truly transcendent and immersive- you aren’t just listening to music- it’s a happening.

Hardly a better combination of words and vocals that Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins in 1967. Hauntingly beautiful. And a poignant message. Judy Collins just released a new album at 83 yrs old....'Spellbound'...still a beautiful voice after 6 decades. Amazing.

Some interesting contenders and great music here.
I do think Nile Rogers should get a mention for his amazing contributions to music and also Giorgio Moroder for his futuristic moog music with the legendary Donna Summer. .
