Darkened? Rather changed-color? Not sure how to imagine it can go from minty-green to waxy-yellow by darkening (but i am open to all theories…it’s fascinating)…

Phillips sues Jose for his detective work. Of course they didn't like it, I wonder how the watch world likes their behaviour in return?

Interesting turn of events. I imagine the person with the most money will win this one.

Amazing that Phillips (and others) pull stunts like this when the internet is full of information and sleuths that can uncover a made up watch in short order. Twenty years ago they got away with stuff like this, very hard today. A watch like this is not marketed to an experienced collector market, it's for the market which has silly money sloshing around looking for something to 'invest' in. Stories abound about how watches are a viable place to put your money. So they buy a made up watch, an NFT, or some other investment du jour. Lets see how this plays out.
