It's more than 9k so I gave up... but I went back and took pics of the other one I was considering. Any thoughts? Could ref# 16710 be correct for this watch?

TT GMT above should be 16713.
Just got mine back from service.

I thought so, just wanted to be sure there were no exeptions...

My friend did the same kind of conversion to TT with a 16750, IIRC. He still has all the original parts, though.

conversion or "frankenwatch", that is a question... anyway, the dealer didn't say anything about it.

Coke is way much better than Pepsi!
😁::stirthepot::
Isn't it a case of Coke is for republicans and Pepsi for democrats, or am I over reading American sensibilities

Coke drinkers prefer Daytonas, Pepsi drinkers prefer Speedmasters 😉

in added thread drift....at the time the OP's watch was made Coke had different formulations in different countries. ::stirthepot::
And then there was New Coke vs. Coke Classic🤦

We never got to new stuff here in Oz, they were going to, even had the cans made and ready to go, but uncommon sense took over and they ditched the idea and kept the classic recipe

It's best to examine the watch in person or ask for detailed pictures. Look for any signs of wear, alignment issues, or mismatched colors. As for other red flags, make sure to check the overall condition, movement, and any documentation that comes with the watch.
