PCL brushing

Hi
Anyone know where in UK one could send a new AT bracelet to brush out the polished centre links? Enquiring for friend considering getting a new AT but not overly keen on the pcls. Do you know if the work would void the warranty?

The other option is an older model. I think all brushed bracelets on ATs go up to 2017? That would be with the 8500 movement I guess - how well do these compare to more modern movements? Would suggest he picks up a new Railmaster like I did recently but he wants a date function.
Cheers
Jeremy

Scotch-brite and a little practice.
Scotch-brite is fine for removing scratches from a brushed clasp, but I wouldn’t recommend for brushing the whole bracelet. For the OP, any watchmaker in your area should be able to brush the bracelet for you. Just call around and drop the bracelet off (I’d keep the watch head). I have the bracelets on my wife’s Cartier Tank and Aqua Terra re-brushed every time I take them to my watchmaker to have the battery changed, because she is a lot rougher on her bracelets than I am on mine. Costs an extra $100 or so, but when he’s done, they look like new. Doubt you could get the same result using a Scotch-Brite pad.

Thanks - I did take a bracelet to a jeweller once who did a rubbish job. So a bit nervous to try again but perhaps take more care in choosing a jeweller specialising in watches.
