Trying to figure the reference on this model I found in a pawn shop. Band is stamped 825 if I remember right.

I have a 2220.80 and I know it’s close. But I’m wondering if this is the pierce brosnen bond watch ?

It didn’t get moving till I picked it up so I imagine it’s not quartz model

Looks like a 2551.80, the 36mm version of the 2531.80 (the Brosnan Bond non-quartz-ref).

Yes it does seem smaller. Glad I didn’t spring for it. Not what I’m looking for then. Thanks for the quick reply

To much. 2k out the door. I could probably negotiate it for 12-1400. But it’s not a model I’m interested in.

The quartz models of this are three liners- they lack the "chronometer" text.

I'd pay 1200 for it..
Yeah, sales prices on Ebay are all in the $1800-$2200 range. So $2000 is 'about right', and the 12-1400 would be 'pretty solid deal'.

I know that bigger is better these days, and my wrist is fairly large in diameter at 8 inches, but that smaller 36mm version is the one for me. I would prefer its appearance on my wrist to a larger version. If I ran into that watch in my pawn shop browsing and could pick it up for a "real deal" I'd wear that little dumplin' home! My notion of a "real deal" in the current market starts at $1500, but anything under that would be better.

I have one of these (2551.80). An 8” wrist could be challenging.

That being said. These are really really nice watches and I think represent very good value in the market.

Anything under 1700 would represent a good deal I think
