Patina or Damage?

I am curious to hear what members of the forum thinks about patina and where they would draw the line between a nice patina and damage. For example, would you classify the following watch as one that is has a nice patina or dial damage?

I could live with that. Even discoloration and very small spots is very preferable to me over bigger spots and uneven discoloration.

Looks like yellowing and cracking of the original dial lacquer. Very attractive.
