Seems trying to get one of these on a decent deal is not easy with a couple of dealers adding a premium to supply one quickly.

Anyone have any dealer contacts you can put my way for a friend please?

    Thanks

Which aquanaut ref are you looking for? There are quite a few different ones.

Patek were quoting 5 years at their London boutique for the basic three hander earlier this year... that might be pushing prices north with anyone who actually has stock?

5 years seems a bit harsh. I bed that can be done within a year here in the Netherlands. Will be a bit higher in price though... GPB - EUR is extremely weak.

It's one of those things that they say... "oh yes, we're sold out for 5 years"... but I am left wondering, if you put the full asking down on the table in front of them, how quickly a watch would appear. ;)

    Hi tyrantizardex & all
I think you may be surprised to find it makes no difference from what I have seen, although the Nautilus is the one that even used models are selling for more than brand new as you just can't just get them brand new at list with out being on the waiting list and waiting years from what I have seen the Aquanauts also are not far behind in price differentials either. I really like both of these Patek's as am mostly into steel sport watches now a days but must admit for what they are I do think they are over priced however nice they may be and I feel the same way about a lot of the Royal Oaks to. But hey that's just how I think not saying anyone that disagrees is wrong its their money so their choice.

5167 given the pricing point is very hard to find for sure. 5711 blue, despite what people say, will come to you sooner than you think when you call around. I was offered the watch randomly twice last year.

If so, send me a message. I have a dealer here in the Netherlands that could arrange it "fast" as in a few weeks/months.

would you be willing to share where these easy to source 5711 blue patek dealers might be? :) i've called around to just about every patek dealer in the us and have had zero luck... i've just about given up on ever owning one because i refuse to pay above retail on a new watch (one has to have some values).

Aperently prices of the 5711/1a and 5712/1a have gone or will go up by 15%.... only these 2 references.... so you might be well off considering buying at a small premium as long as you can find one....

That was last year before all the speculative pricing kicked in and supply being reined in. At these newer prices, I rather buy something else.

I put my name down back in October for a 5167/1a-001 - that's the aquanaut on a bracelet - and was told it would be a one to two year wait here in the states.
