Parts ordering advice for a newby

I am fairly new to watchmaking, having done this for about a year and been successful on repairing a few watches. I am now stepping up to an Omega 711 and wondering where do people order parts.

I unfortunately lost the cap jewel. 馃檮

If you are a professional, you might look into what is required to apply for a parts account.

Omega parts have been restricted for a while now.
something like a cap jewel might still be available but it depends on which country you are in.

If the US, try Otto Frei.
If the UK, try Cousins.

The upper and lower cap jewels are the same, and the Omega part number you need is 72204401342.

However, these are Incabloc parts, so you can also find these through various charts that might be around that identify the cap jewels (and other shock parts) for various brands by Incabloc number.

Thanks,
I wish I could send a picture but the piece is lost. Hopefully I am naming it correctly. It is simply the round red disk that fits into the piece which form a unit with a drop of oil between them.
