Been here a while, and while I don’t post much I had to put up a quick post to say my tool just arrived and it’s such amazing quality. Everything about it is first class. Just love the stand it comes in, makes it a great desk weight while not in use. Super-fast delivery and superb service from Paul from start to finish.
Can’t wait to try this out.

now I’ll get back to hiding in the shadows..

Thanks for the opener. Pretty impressive, not only works well but is attractive design. Good desk top ornament, when not in use.

I can also highly recommend this Speedy case opener from Pahawi! This tool is absolutely cool 😎

@Pahawi FYI I tried it on a 7A28 Seiko Quartz watch and it fits. Dont know where the comprehensive list is but can add this to the list!

Hey @Pahawi wonderful tool you have been making and looking forward to when I'm able to purchase mine. After reading through the thread, and I could definitely be mistaken so please excuse me if I am, it looks like there may be a typo on the current compatible list as @Bumper had shown the tool with a Geneve 166.0141. It only jumped out to me as I also have a reference 166.0141 and I was glad to see that other than my Speedmaster case this could potentially fit some of my other watches. Again if I'm mistake please excuse me, but I thought I'd mention it as other may be interested in knowing the compatibility.

I recently acquired one of @Pawahi's openers, and could not be happier. He was quick to respond to my inquiry, and to ship the opener. And it works absolutely beautifully.

This weekend i was at a watch fair, and wanted to check on the inside of a vintage Certina DS, but we couldnt open the caseback with the standard tool, and obviously i didnt want to risk damaging the caseback. So we are standing stuck there with the watch at the table for almost 15minutes.. Then a friend of mine showes up, and pulls out the Pahawi's caseback opener from his bag, so we just give it a try.. and what a surprise, this worked perfectly 😁 ::psy:: now i need one of those too! 😉
The for the record, the reference number was "Certina 5801-112". But i am pretty sure it will fit to other various DS references as well.
