I have a C24 alert for my birth year and this one popped up (probably incorrectly according to the Omega extract)

I'm a bit of a novice so perhaps those with more can chip in, but initially I'm thinking incorrect bezel and pushers?

Photos not too good, but I think dial looks ok.

Caseback hidden by photo angle and seems optimistic to not provide any interior photos of movement/case.. All over it seems like a fishing expedition.

Bezel wrong, pushers look correct. Would be nice if movementt and caseback photos.
    And yes, optimistic pricing.

Depending on the serial. Ealier 105.012-65 had closed spaced-T's (T SWISS MADE T), later 65s and -66 had wide spaced T's (as far as I know). My 105.012-65 with serial 24533xxx has also wide spaced T's.

Bezel is clearly not a DON, so you have to invest maybe additional 1.000 to 2000 EUR if you like to have your watch authentic. I would also check the crown (has to have a flat feet logo) and the crystal which should have also a engraved flat feet logo (ok, I'm finical).

For this price the watch has to be more than perfect ;-))

I think you'll find that Chrono24 is not the place to purchase a vintage Speedmaster. All of their prices seem incredibly over the top. Some of their newer watches are competitively priced, but their vintage is not.

Very optimistic pricing, but it only takes one person not educated and buying on impulse....not that i have ever done that once or twice...or thrice

Yep. I quit looking at Chrono24 for vintage Speedmasters. Even with my newbie eyes, I can see that 90% of the listing have incorrect parts. The other 10% is waay overpriced.

Don't agree. Sometimes I bought nice watches for a reasonable price via C24. You have to check carefully what you buy and if you buy from a professional (German) seller you can send back the watch after a inspection period of 14 days - without any reason.

Wanted to second your note of the later 105.012-65's with wide spaced T's. Mine is also a 105.012-65 with a similar serial number and wide spaced T's on the dial.

I couldn't agree more. I have also noticed that many times even when you try to negotiate a price with a seller, they get very defensive about their price. This is after even showing completed ebay listings on the same watch in comparable condition.

Agree: i have had zero luck negotiating with the sellers (and then, looks like they've been able to sell at their - off the charts - asking price).
Have to say i am wondering if the speedmaster101 price grid is current ?

One thing you have to think about is whether a watch actually sold when it is delisted. You also have to think about how much the watch really did sell for on Chrono24 as you cannot see the sold price unlike on Ebay...
