Are you sure the crystal has been pressed in fully? Doesn't look like it to me.
I am pretty sure these have an o ring around the circumference of the crystal. Have no idea if it's pressed in fully or not, but the crystal looks to have been put on a grinder as well. Look at the top edge of the crystal and the angled edge it has.

No, when the original finish has been upgraded it moves over to mint+::facepalm1::.
