My head hurts just trying to work out what has gone on.😕 Are you sure it's not a gold nugget that was polished to look like a watch case.

Are you sure the crystal has been pressed in fully? Doesn't look like it to me.
I am pretty sure these have an o ring around the circumference of the crystal. Have no idea if it's pressed in fully or not, but the crystal looks to have been put on a grinder as well. Look at the top edge of the crystal and the angled edge it has.

Is it still mint if the original finish has been polished off? I'm guessing probably not.
No, when the original finish has been upgraded it moves over to mint+::facepalm1::.
