Just thought I'd post this one for the group's viewing pleasure, as I cant get enough of it! very proud of this piece. A 1940's Witt with radium patina to die for, and some amazing radium burns right there on the dial from decades of the watch sitting unused.

The case is razor sharp and the watch has never been serviced. Original crystal has a little bit of spidering but its well worth it.

The lugs on this one have remarkable little scallops too. Calibre 11ES.

    What do you all think?

A very nice example and I like the blue hands - definitely adds to it.

Where did you get it from?

Beautiful. Everything you could want. What’s the case size? Do you know the specific reference?

I purchased this from a seller on eBay. Amazing that nobody else snatched it up.

Case size is approximately 33mm. I am not sure of this reference. Seems scarce having looked round online. The dial and handset appear many places but not this case with the stepped bezel and scalloped lugs.

    Does it run properly?

I think I have one of these in parts, including a very nice silver dial. I'll have to check the project bin (after I blow off the dust coating).

Runs great!! Just a little bit fast but having never been serviced it’s definitely in need of one. Sending it out to the spa next week.

Would love to see pictures of yours!

Gotta find it first. If I do, I'm sure it's still in pieces. ::shy::

EDIT: found the caliber - it's an 11D. Got the hands in the same container also. Not sure I wanna dig around anymore just now.
