As the title says, it's been over fours of being completely out of the watch obsession business. What has happened in the omega community other than the recent swatch/plastic speedmaster release...? How has this forum evolved in fours years...? Cheers..

Someone inherited their uncle’s watch, but can’t figure out how to take a clear photo of it.

Well... some folks argued about whether they could take their Speedmaster diving, or wear it in the shower; then some wondered whether they could wear it at all as it might suffer some slight damage if it wasn’t kept in its box 😉

Ooh, and there were plenty of cats, limited editions (not cats), fakes, and snorkels.

Generally though - some beautiful watches, friendly banter and good advice.

Yes, Snorkeling has become huge. Speedmasters are not for Snorkeling.

How concerned are you about a insignificant superficial scratch on your watch?

Sounds like all good and interesting talk. Yes, I saw the rolex price increases, Omega's however still seems like they provide value. I paid very little for my PO 2500C. I can't stop wearing it...!

What brought You back ?
👎
the moonSwatch ? .... 😁

I regularly rotate the watches I own, then I ponder about models I used to own.

I now seem to be on a quest to purchase models I had sold/trades years ago. Also, thinking about an early retirement, and what type of hobby/business would keep me content.

Come on, now... Rolex deserves a little more credit than that -- don't forget the pathbreaking move they made last year by offering the Explorer in two-tone, er, um, Rolesor! That broke the internet for awhile.
