So what kind of deal did I miss out on? (possible GMT Pepsi bezel)

They say that fortune favors the bold, and in this case I definitely wasn't bold as the auction price went over what I was comfortable with (read that as "what my wife would be comfortable with") without being certain. Here's a link to the auction:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Huge-lot-W...ents-Parts-Or-Repair-Mido-Omega-/392213820044Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

And here are the pictures that I found most interesting:

There in the center, what is that I spy?

I tried to see if I could determine if it was real or not before the auction ended, but ultimately I just couldn't and at the moment over $300 was more than I could risk. Now there's probably way more than $300 worth even in all the other stuff in that lot, but I have more stuff than I know what to do with. I'm just kind of curious as to what kind of deal I may have missed out on. Obviously if it is a real GMT bezel, it's likely worth far more than $300.

    C'est la vie.

I went through the same thought process on this lot. The seller was completely unresponsive. I know nothing about these bezels so didn’t give it much thought.

I was looking at the Seamaster case but couldn’t justify bidding higher than I did given so many unknowns.

I’ve been off looking at these kind of lots, and giving this the once over doesn’t make me think I’d have bid much for it. No stand out pieces and a good chance that there’d be a lot of effort to get any kind of profit out of it. Of course it could have been a gold mine... and there was that tin with “gold” written on it :whistling:

The Mickey Mouse dials might have some traction here. Not sure about that bezel.looks wonky to me.
