Oris Star Wars Stormtrooper Limited Edition

So... like most of us, I get junk emails from watch retailers. I usually just delete them, but one this afternoon caught my eye when I recognized the symbol of the Galactic Empire. Somehow, amidst all of the 8.72 trillion limited editions from my favorite maison, I missed this one from Oris. a brand I haven't ever fallen for. Other than another limited edition Okavango Air Rescue watch that I've looked at a few times, nothing in the catalog really aligns my warp core.

This almost did. Not enough to pull the trigger, but it's different and nerdy and quirky.

Just sharing. Wondered how many other Star Wars nerds were here. (If you want to call me out for the mix of Star Trek and Star Wars with the "warp core" reference, you just proved you're a fellow nerd, so... welcome aboard!)

The listing emailed to me is brand new, unworn, stickers intact, box & papers... $1570 US shipped. So... no. In any case, as much as I love Star Wars, that watch isn't calling out that loudly. It obviously wasn't flying off the shelves at $2,700 US, the Oris price.

Edit: i see the one posted here is bracelet AND rubber strap, so it's a better deal considering.
