Hello All, I have recently picked up a nice Diver 65 42MM. Black dial,
I like it but what i was really looking for was the blue dial with numerals and not circular plots.

Im wondering, in general, which diver65 is most sought after?
    Hers my 65.

Why did you buy this one if you wanted the blue? They're readily available all over the place...

Images from net. My favorite is the Jonathan version:

It sure is lovely in black as well. I like the blue, but the pale colour is a little odd.

This is the one I’ve always coveted. I didn’t know it was called a Jonathan version.

Actually, I’ve just googled Oris Jonathan without any success?

He may just be referring to the way the number is on his jersey.
    Very similar.

Oh thanks, I hadn’t noticed the skater’s jersey - is he also called Jonathan?

I kind of like the retro look of the black one that you bought.

Yep, I’m happy with that - although I hope I won’t have to explain it to the Oris shop staff.
Or is it a nickname like ‘Speedy’, ‘Ed White’, ‘Evil Nina’ and various Seikos?

I love these watches. I wanted the Oris Aquis Date for the longest time. I'm so indecisive that I had more than Oris money saved up by the time I was ready to plunge for a watch. Gonna grab something on a rubber strap from Oris though - maybe next year or 2022.

I hate all watch nicknames and especially "speedy". Reminds me of back in high school when some wanna-be would call a sportster a "sporty".
